Iconic Rolling Stones Symbol Sold at Auction

The iconic Rolling Stones lips and tongue original artwork has been sold for $92 500 (about £51 000) at auction.
The Victoria and Albert Museum in London snapped up the memorabilia, designed by British artist John Pasche in 1970 and used on the Rolling Stones 1971 ‘Sticky Fingers’ album cover.
The lips and tongue stuck with the Rolling Stones and remain an iconic emblem for the band.
The Victoria and Albert Museum’s auction bid was helped along by the British charity The Art Fund, funding half of the huge price tag for the Rolling Stones artwork.
