jamelia oxjamOxfam are set to launch a series of exclusive charity concerts in October.

The exclusive concerts will be held at an Oxfam Shop and will feature artists such as Jamelia, Fat Boy Slim, and former Pulp man Jarvis Cocker.

Oxfam put on a similar event last year which raised 500,000 pounds and this year they’re aiming to make a million.  A million pounds is enough to provide safe water for almost 1.4 million people, 20,000 emergency shelters or essential medicines for 10,000 villages.

Jarvis and the Kooks will perform on the 1st of October while Jamelia will perform on the second with Hot Chip.

Fat Boy Slim will head the events on the 4th of October.
