Naomi Campbell Opens Cancer Research Unit

Naomi Campbell (pictured right) was in London last week to open a new cancer research unit at a Guy’s Hospital.

The £4.2 million unit was funded by the charity organisation Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

At the opening, the supermodel said, ‘As someone who’s seen breast cancer first hand I know it can be a devastating disease.’

Naomi Campbell’s mother, Valerie (pictured left), was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and is now in remission.
