Dinner in The Painted Hall

The Painted Hall has recently re-opened after undergoing an exciting £8.5m conservation project. On Thursday 2 May, NLA invite you to this unique charity dinner – an exclusive opportunity to see Sir James Thornhill’s masterpiece. The major transformation project is by Hugh Broughton Architects.

The dinner will raise valuable funds to tackle homelessness in the capital with The Connection at St-Martin-in-the-Fields and Temple Bar Trust in its programme for increasing diversity in the architectural profession.
 
Programme:
  • Sunset canape and bubbles reception under the Queen Mary Colonnades with string quartet
  • Guests take the secret injured naval officer’s tunnel over to the Painted Hall
  • Welcome from NLA Chairman Peter Murray 
  • Guests are seated in the Painted Hall for a delicious three-course meal with wine
  • After dinner speeches from Will Palin, Conservation Director at the Old Royal Naval College and Hugh Broughton, Director of Hugh Broughton Architects
