Cycling London’s Bridges for The Stroke Association

14 of London’s bridges crossed by thousands of cyclists for charity rideThousands of cyclists have undertaken the 32 mile expedition in support of The Stroke Association. The ride which is now in its 12 year in the annual Stroke association’s fundraising event starts at London’s CityHall and finishes at Hurst Park in Surrey.
The bridges included in the course are the Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Southwark Bridge, Chelsea Bridge, Blackfriars Bridge, Waterloo Bridge, Albert Bridge, Putney Bridge, Battersea Bridge, Wandsworth Bridge, Barnes Bridge, Kingston Bridge, Kew Bridge and Hampton Court Bridge.

The course took roughly four hours to complete and entertainment was prodived at Hurst Park at the end of the curcuit. The Stroke Association were very thankful for the support, stating that every ₤100 funds the association’s helpline, which aids 250,000 stroke sufferes in the UK every 5 hours.
