Want to party like it’s 1978? BAC’s Producers Club and Kneehigh invite you to attend a special performance of Don John in our brand new theatre space in the Grand Hall. Created by the legendary Kneehigh Theatre in association with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Bristol Old Vic, Don John is an inventive and radical re-telling of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, set in 1978 against a backdrop of neon and cigarette smoke, this is the ultimate story of love, loss and liberation.
After the show, join the cast, creative team, and Joint Artistic Directors of BAC and Kneehigh Theatre for retro cocktails, canapes and live music to the disco beat.
Tickets £75 (includes £40 donation). Your donations will enable BAC and Kneehigh to continue developing extraordinary new work and support BAC to:
create residential facilities in BAC to host up to 24 artists,
support a network of 400 emerging artists and
deliver a multi-million pound restoration and re-development of BAC with architects Haworth Tompkins that will be sympathetic to our Grade 2* listed Town Hall venue.
