Aston Martin V8 Vantage to go under the Hammer for UNICEF

UNICEF will auction off an Aston Martin v8 Vantage in December in an effort to increase road safety in Asian countries.The V8 has travelled from Tokyo to London in 49 days covering 10,000 miles in an effort to raise awareness about road safety in the devolping countries across Asia.The Campaign saw the car travel via South Korea, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Hungary, Austria, Germany and France.Prior to this journey The Aston Martin clocked up 100,000 miles.
The car was speciallially prepared by staff at Aston Martin in Gayden with a styrengthened sump guard and a raised suspension added to the vehicle. TheAston Martin brand, made popular by the James Bond films, said it was commited to highlighting world safety issues worldwide.
UNICEF hope to raise at least ₤50,000 in the auction which will be held on the 3rd of December at Bonhams at Olympia, in London.
